The building’s structure results from stacking the functions. Lightwells of different sizes are cut into the complex volumes; they create distinct spatial atmospheres for the respective levels and in this way structure the building. The facade concept follows a principle in which direct sunlight is largely screened off, while leaving the view out to the surroundings intact. The split-level conceptfor the circulation links all of the levels and facilitates visual communication between them.
